WINTER PARKING RULES
RETURN DEC. 1 - FEB 28

Many Near South Side streets that allow night parking on both sides of the street, return to alternate side parking beginning tonight, December 1st.  If your block does not have the "4 inch" rule, or a specific sign designating prohibited parking, then alternate side parking is back in effect.  Save your money, and make sure your vehicle is on the proper side of the street beginning December 1!

In addition, many major streets throughout the City of Milwaukee still prohibit parking on either side of the street from 2 AM - 6AM starting Dec 1 thru Feb 28,
streets like S 13th St, S 35th St, W National Av, W Greenfield Av, W Lincoln Av, and W Mitchell St.  To find winter night parking rules for your block, click on the following link: Winter Parking rules by block

Two weeks ago residents won the right to park on S. 6th, S. 11th and S 16th, streets where winter parking was previously prohibited.  See map below for details.

As we have done for several years now, we have flyers in English and Spanish that explain how to avoid parking tickets and facilitate snow removal on your block this winter whatever your parking rules may be. Call us at 672-8090 if you'd like some to distribute!
