Beware you might not be as protected as you think. Please read.

Below these comments is part of an Email just received.
During a recent rash of break-ins on East Wilbur, more than one neighbor noticed that the light bulbs on their security lights had been unscrewed just enough to cause them not to go on when they where supposed to. If your lights are located low enough to be tampered with you might want to check on them to make sure they will do the job they were intended to do. Easy access to you is also easy access to a thief.

Re: Break-ins on Wilbur Avenue

Some neighbors on Wilbur and Warnimont reported that their outside light sensor flood lights had been loosened from the sockets so that they wouldn't go on at dusk. Please check your floodlights periodically to be sure they are securely tightened. If you see anyone fiddling with floodlights during the day who isn't the homeowner, call the nonemergency police number and the homeowner. This might be a way of them "marking" their next target and prepping for an evening break-in.
