Update from District 2 Crime Trend Meeting

Whether you live in District 2 or District 6 this info is useful for your security. Updates from tonight's D2 Crime Trend Meeting: 1. There is a company "Pinnacle Security" going door to door through our neighborhoods selling security systems, they do NOT have a license to do so and have been sited for such. 2. There has been a rise in daytime burglaries, we are reminded to secure our residences (lock doors & windows), make best use of lighting, get to know your neighbors & talk to them on a regular basis and lastly report suspicious activity. 3. Air Conditioners are the item of choice being stolen these days (go figure) so please be sure your air conditioner is securely bolted in your window. Next Crime Trend Meeting will be Thursday, August 18th, 2011 at 6 p.m. at District 2.
