Platinum Protection came to my home twice in the past week. We were not interested in their offer, but I was amused by their sales tactics. The salesman stated that he JUST sold a security system to my neighbor, Sandra and that she suggested that I should get one, too.
"Sandra?" I asked the guy where Sandra lives. He pointed to Louise's house on the corner. Funny man. He shouldn't say these things to a person who knows her neighbors!
It made me realize that if there are lies in the sales presentation, how dependable is the service? Read more below to find out.

There Needs to be more press on this company!!!! they are crooks they convinced my 76 year old grandmother on Saturday to get this system and told us we had 7 days to decide weather we want it or not. so i called Monday stating i wasn't happy and i wanted it out of the house. he tried and tried to convince me but my answer was still no. so he said give it one more day plus the "disconnect team" was busy (that should have been flag number one) and if u don't like it he will start the disconnect process. he also mentioned he would call to check on me. next day came and went NO CALL. i called Wednesday constantly and he finally answered like he was busy and said ill call you back. calls back at 10:45 saying he will set it up for friday knowing as of midnight that night would be to late. so i called the company thursday on a humbug checking the status of my disconnect and they tell me that i need to send in a letter to cancel and its to late im locked in for 5YEARS!!!!!!!! the sales man was nathan o'Donovan if he or anyone from platinum protection comes to your doors PLEASE DO NOT ANSWER IT TRUST ME!!! THERE ARE BETTER COMPANIES OUT THERE DO YOUR HOMEWORK PLEASE PEOPLE BELIEVE ME!!!!
